Hello from South Yorkshire UK

Postby Anthony_Ferrari » Wed Mar 31, 2010 3:02 pm

Hi, I'm Anthony. I've been an F1 nut for most of my life. My earliest F1 memory is of James Hunt winning the Championship in a rainy Japanese Grand Prix at Fuji. That was 1976. I was 8 and it was my Grandad who got me to watch it.
I didn't actually attend an F1 race until Silverstone 1998. I have been to a few since. Monza 6 times, Barcelona 4, San Marino 2, Silverstone 4, and Belgium 1. Last years Belgian Grand Prix was my first race since 2003. I met Carol and some other FOFA people there and I'll be proudly wearing my FOFA t-shirt at Silverstone and Belgium this year.

I discovered this guy yesterday who is visiting every race this year - surely he should be a FOFA member? http://www.getjealous.com/getjealous.php?go=alexjsnell

Hello, just joined the new site but am a long standing FOFA and Renault F1 fan. I intend to write some blogs and articles over the next few months and to post quite a few pics. I am lucky enough to have been to the paddock, the factories and seen all the action behind the scenes of F1.
Thank you to BOL, TONY and all those who set this up.

Yep, RF1 served as an inspiration for us, especially Bradly Lord the Great. The guy opened my eyes on the sport.
